About Street and Altar

Street and Altar is a forum for sharing reflections about our communal life as St. Joseph's Episcopal Church, as we gratefully accept, and by grace pass on, the loving hospitality of the Triune God.

St. Joseph's is a mission of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, located at 1902 W. Main St. in Durham. We are devoted to worship, prayer, study, and fellowship, seeking to live the great commandments to love God wholly, and our neighbors as ourselves.

Please join us! We celebrate the Holy Eucharist at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. We pray Morning Prayer Monday through Saturday, at 8 a.m. (followed by breakfast 8:30 - 9:15 a.m.) and Evening Prayer Monday through Friday at 5:30 p.m.
